"Corrugated metal on the inside? Yes, indeed. Brennan + Company Architects created an interior "street" in this renovation of an old alley house. The corrugated metal is juxtaposed with other materials to let each room off the hallway stand out."

“I’m going back home to the West Coast”
posted on March 7, 2012 by carri beer
This morning as I perused my various emails, I came across a new sustainable and healthy product, NewWood, which is a newly created panel product that is a 100% recycled content, no formaldehyde, healthy alternative to gypsum and wood products. How exciting! Yes, how exciting until I realize, like so many other products, it's manufactured on the West Coast with current distribution – on the West Coast. This is not the first time that I've read about a new "green" product only to find I can't have it out here on the East Coast. When will we catch up to the innovation and motivation of our coastal counterparts?
As I write this, I'm singing Coconut Records, "West Coast" and though I'm not actually a native West Coastian I do envy the greater opportunties they seem to have when it comes to product availability to create healthy, sustainable buildings.
