The clients contacted us with the intent to address some exterior wall failure and completely renovate two stacked bathrooms added decades ago in the lightwell between adjacent row homes. The Sallyport addition was rebuilt with a proper new foundation and framing. The collaborative work of the architect, contractor, and client created two bold and graphic bathrooms that fit the client’s contemporary style. The second-floor bathroom was updated with a spa-like wet room with a soaking tub while working within the modest square footage. Both bathrooms received new frosted casement windows to maximize light.
