Construction has begun on this aging-in-place addition in Alexandria, Virginia. The owners enlisted our help for their 4th project with brennan+company architects. This collaboration has spanned nearly 4 decades, beginning in 1989 with the renovation of their historic 1920 residence. The new 2-story addition includes a new first floor porch, mudroom and laundry with a second floor owner suite accessed by a LULA elevator for increased access and use for our aging-in-place clients while supporting the historic character of the house and earlier additions.
