spring is in the air…

the evenings are getting longer and the air is getting warmer. the other day my daughter asked if it was spring because she could hear the birds chirping again! now is the time to start thinking about all those projects on our ever-growing lists, house cleaning and organizing, and making some changes.

for several years now, we have all been faced with serious economic challenges and failures. some of us have remained gainfully employed – possible making a few adjustments here and there, others have had to begin new careers, and most of us have had to hold back on making any risky moves.

at some point we may need to understand that our government cannot possibly make the changes alone. i believe it requires the aid of a grassroots movement to create a deluge of change from the ground up. as responsible citizens we must band together to jump in and take some risks, enjoy our lives, support our local economy and help each other ascend.
